Giving

Giving is at our core.

Every event hosted by Madison Events saves 10 homeless dogs.

History

Lauren’s passion for volunteering and giving back began at an early age – a trait passed down from her father and mother. After college, Lauren’s love of animals took root, and she began actively helping homeless animals through networking, fundraising, and fostering. Today, this dedication is a core part of Lauren’s business.

How it Works

Lauren and her team at Madison Events are committed to ending the suffering of dogs who live in overcrowded, high-risk shelters where they have little to no chance of being adopted. On average, 1.5 million shelter animals are euthanized every year in the United States.

For each event booked with Madison Events, funds and resources are donated to the SPCA Westchester Rescue/Transport/Adopt Program which provides 10 dogs and puppies with their “ticket to freedom.” The donation covers the cost of the animals’ vaccines, health certificate and transportation to the SPCA where they start the next chapter of their lives on their journey to their forever home. Through the SPCA’s Rescue/Transport/Adopt Program, more than 10,000 lives have been saved to date.

Our Partner

Founded in 1883, SPCA Westchester is one of the oldest humane societies in the United States and is the only organization empowered to enforce animal cruelty laws in Westchester County. The SPCA is run strictly on donations and does not receive county, state or federal funding. Recognized as a “No-Kill” Rescue Center, the SPCA is committed to finding homes for all adoptable animals regardless of space or length of stay.
